Nazeeh: "I was looking for a German partner to improve my bad German. A friend from Jemen told me during a visit of a mosque about LPP and gave me one of their flyers. I registered myself at the homepage and found Rico, who also wanted to learn the language of his LinkPartner."
Rico: "During my stay in France, where I met an Algerian guy, the interest fort he Arabian people and culture started to grow. Back in Germany, I started an Arabic language course. To intensify the learning process, I began to look for a language tandem partner and found Nazeeh."
Nazeeh about his German LinkPartner
"Rico told and showed me a lot about the German culture. And of course he helped me to improve my German. Also, I cannot forget how he helped me when I was in hospital, because I couldn’t express myself well enough in German. We also did many trips to explore Dresden’s surroundings. During Christmas time he invited me to his family, where I was welcomed very warmly. That was the first family who invited me and who I got to know in this way. This really changed my view of Germany. Besides, I learned some “sächsisch” and understand the people here a little bit better."

"For me, it was and still is very interesting to get to know Nazeeh and the Arabian culture. We cooked a meal together which was very tasty and I learned to appreciate the culinary treasures of his home country. Because we want to learn each others language, we encourage and help each others. I already got very far, much further than a language course would have allowed. Through our trips I also learned about my own homeland. In every respect, I am very satisfied with the LPP, because it offers a great platform to get to know foreign people."
