Yes. The registrations are open for everyone. This means even if you are here at the Goethe institute or at the Volkshochschule to learn german you can apply. Also for germans the registration isn't restricted.

Yes. We match the whole semester term. We only close the registrations in the semester break for maintenance work on the software for a short time.

No. The automated matching doesn't look for any matchings between the internationals. What we can offer you is to come to our events and get to know other international students there.

No. However, it was the express wish of our users to be able to give more statements as the country of origin or language skills. It is anyhow a good help for everyone to choose a partner.

You have to activate your account with the activation code which you have recieved by email. This is necessary because we have a user area now. You can apply there with your login data and you will recieve your first suggestions within an hour. With a little luck you'll be matched on the same day.

No. It is our basic concept to match anonymously so that only the connected duos can see the personal data. If we would made it possible to upload pictures, we differentiate the data between anonymous and not anonymous. This is not our goal.
