Biking tour along the Elbe
You want to enjoy the river Elbe by bike?
You want to take a different look on the surroundings of Dresden? Then we just have the right thing for you: our bicycle tour on Saturday, 1st June 2013!
The bicycle tour starts at 9.30 a.m. near the main station and goes alongside the Elbe to Pirna, crossing castles, the Elbe meadow, the bridge "Blue Wonder" and the television tower. In Pirna we make a small brake to eat some tasty ice cream and enjoy the old city. Then we chance the other side of the Elbe to ride to Pratzschwitz .Right there is a swimming lake. But we have to mention, that it is a mixed swimming lake which means that you can swim with or without swimming suits. There is also a small snack bar where you can buy something to eat or drink. From Pratzschwitz we go to Pillnitz. Since the bicycle lane ends in Pillnitz we take the ferry to cross the river and ride back to start point, the main station.
The route is about 40 km and is very flat without big hills.

You don't have a bike, but still want to attend the bicycle tour? No problem. We rent a bike for you. All you have to do is that tell us with your registration that you need a bike. And we will take of the rest.
For ice and the entrance to the park Pillnitz you pay only 1,50 Euro. If you need a bike, you pay 3 Euro more. The number of participants is limited to 15.
Deadline for registration:
- if you need a bike: 28th May 2013.
- it you have an own bike: 30th May 2013.

Biking tour along the Elbe
Because of the weather forecast, the event is postponed to Sunday, 13th June 2010!!
Do you want to join Dresdens nature by bike? The LinkPartnerProgramm invites you, your Linkpartner and your friends to a nice biking tour on Sunday, 13th June 2010 .
The trip starts at 8:45 a.m. at the main station (main entrance, tram stop lines 3 and 8) and goes along the Elbe through the river valley with small castles and vine hills to Meißen.
In Meißen, we will take a break, eat icecream and join the beautiful city. On the way back to Dresden, we go to a little lake where you can swim, use the water chute or just lie in the sun. In addition we will have a snack.
The whole route is about 50 km long and very flat. We will arrive in Dresden around 6 p.m.
You don't have a bike but want to take part? No problem. We borrow one for you. You have only mention with the registration that you need a bike.

For the snack, ice and the entrance to the lake you pay only 3 Euro. If you need a bike, you pay 1 Euro more. The number of participants is limited to 25. Deadline for registration: 9th June 2010.
