Would you like to discover the beauty of the ”Sächsischen Schweiz”? Then we’ve got the right thing for you We invite you to join us on Saturday, 04.07.2009, on our hiking tour through the mountains of the “Sächsische Schweiz” to enjoy some of the most beautiful spots there.

We start at the main station in Dresden and take the train to Krippen. We meet at 9.45 at the east end of platform 18. The train takes 50 min to Krippen where we will take the ferry to cross the Elbe. Now the walking starts! We will walk up the mountains called “Schrammsteine” to enjoy the magnificient view and have a little picknick. On our way back we will see some more, before we take the ferry and the train back to Dresden, where we will arrive around 18.00.

The tour covers about 10 km and involves some rocky and uneven parts. It is important to wear stury shoes (boots) and to have adequate clothing (e.g. rain protection). You also need to bring something to eat and to drink as there will be no restaurants on the way.

You don’t have to sign up for the tour, just be at the main station on Saturday at 9.45. As long as you bring your student ID/ Semesterticket with you, the tour will be free of charge for you! So don’t forget!!!
