You want to go by bike along the river Elbe?

You want to take a different look on the surroundings of Dresden? Then we just have the right thing for you. Our bicycle tour on Satuday, 13th June 2009 to which we would like to invite you.

The bicycle tour will start at 9 a.m. at the main station and goes alongside the Elbe to Pirna, crossing castles, the Elbe meadow, the bridge "Blue Wonder" and the television tower. In Pirna we will enjoy ice cream. Then we are going to chance the side of the Elbe to ride to Pratzschwitz. There we have a picnic. We will take care of some board (snack). Right there is a swimming lake, so that we can swim couple of lanes. But we have to mention, that it is a mixed swimming lake which means that you can swim with or without bathing suits. From Pratzschwitz we will go to Pillnitz. Since the bicycle lane ends in Pillnitz we are going to take the ferry to cross the river and going to ride back to start point, the main station.

The route is about 40 km and is very flat without big hills. Take a look of our pictures in our gallery from our bicycle tours from 2005-2008:

You don't have a bike, but still want to attend the bicycle tour? No problem. We rent a bike for you. All you have to do is that tell us with your registration that you need a bike. And we will take of the rest.

For the picnic, ice cream and renting bikes you have to pay 3 Euro.
